Thoughts are like laundry

I love the satisfying feeling after a doing a little spring cleaning! It feels good to dust, de-clutter and create space.

The start of a new season is a great time to not only tidy up your outer world, but also your inner world - specifically your thought life. Part of my mental spring cleaning is to take an inventory of my thoughts.

Thoughts are like laundry - they must be sorted. We have to separate the “lights” from the “darks”. Some good advice I heard is: Don’t believe every thought you think. Know which ones you should toss out and which ones to keep around.
