My younger self did not know any of this. I did learn most of this through the decades. How incredible it would be to learn this at a young age!

One of your best Dr.. Julie.

Especially liked your insight that we are not victims of our environment, but the architects of it. This means if we are constantly learning, then we are new graduates on a daily basis - no matter our age….

Best

Charles

As a current 22 year old, THANK YOU. Thank for affirming what I have realized to more important rven though its tempting to think otherwise because if what culture promotes. Thank you for the hope that this unorthodox path will pay off and not in just in way but in an unequivocally health way. Thank you!

This was uplifting, practical, and full of warmth. I wish I’d had this kind of guidance in my twenties. Your cookie dough metaphor and reminder to embrace solitude really resonated.

You are right on except to walk without your phone. Walk with the phone off if you must. I had a horrible accident falling down a deep hole I didn’t see. It broke my foot off my leg, turning it 90 degrees. Without my phone I would have died. Because I had my phone I was able to call for help. Four surgeries and ten months later I was fine. Since then I have enjoyed my life and continue to learn (78 years old almost).

I'm really struggling to be alone with my thoughts. Not sure how I ended up here but I'm constantly stimulating my brain - I cook while listening to a podcast, fall asleep listening to a book, watch TikTok on the loo and so on. Time to learn to be alone. Thanks for the nudge. 🙏🏻

I'll definitely share this article to one of my colleague, who is struggling hard to cope up with the stress of new environment. But the thing is, people won't accept if anyone suggest them to take guidance from professional counselors
